Lillian Ahenkan is a multidisciplinary artist-priestess, orator, cultural influencer and Managing Director of FLEXMAMI: a disruptive media + creative company in art, entertainment, nightlife, fashion, product design, publishing and commerce.
FLEXMAMI connects the fringe and controversial with the accessible and relatable.
Developing ideas into formats that humans and extra-terrestrials can interact with: across content, objects and environments.
Lillian is the author of The Success Experiment (published 1 June 2021 by Pantera Press and Hardie Grant), a best-selling book examining how people on the margins must define and pursue success on their own terms. This involves creating bespoke ambition-metrics, mastering contextual positioning, and living outside the bounds of The System’s rules.
She then spent the next half-decade spreading energy across the Australian media landscape as host of national ARN radio show Flex and Froomes, Logie-award nominee, Amari Gala award nominee, Big Brother contestant, primary interviewer for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, host of Spotify’s first original podcast Flex’s Semi Factual History Lessons and her own No Deep Dives.
Following a sabbatical in Ghana, Lillian returned with Ask Yourself This (published 25 November 2025 by Penguin), a shadow work companion journal, to assist with mental, emotional, financial, relational, social and cultural deprogramming. The sacred text filled with 192 questions for true self discovery, encouraging readers to lean less on her authority and more on their own personal philosophy.
She is also the creator of ReFlex, a conversational card game designed to deepen dialogue and self-inquiry. Through interviews, public speaking and digital platforms, Lillian has built a reputation for facilitating nuanced, often uncomfortable conversations around identity, relationships and culture. Her work is about expanding the questions people ask themselves and eachother.
